Eastenders Tanya and Gregs Wedding and Max Brannings Car Crash

Excited about their upcoming nuptials, Tanya and Greg are getting a bit frisky in the bedroom, however the atmosphere is soon ruined when Jane starts banging at the door, Greg pleads with Tanya to ignore her, but Jane borrows a key from Abi and Lauren and decides to let herself in (a little rude). Tanya and Greg have to rush around getting dressed and Greg is more than a little annoyed to be spending yet another night in with Jane.

A little later while Greg is having a disagreement with Zainab over the building work at the Argee Bhagee, Tanya receives a unexpected visitor.......her Mother Cora. Tanya is shocked by her Mothers arrival and even more so, when Greg reveals that he arranged it as a surprise. Meanwhile on the other side of the square, Tanya's daughter Abi is becoming concerned that Jay wants an older woman, so she arranges for Jay to come to her house the following day after work so that they can sleep together.

As the hen and stag nights are being arranged and last minute wedding hitches are being sorted, a stressed Tanya is stunned when Mum Cora announces that she has invited Tanya's drug addict sister Rainie. Tanya is not happy to hear Rainie will be attending, but her Mum points out that all the family should be together for Tanya's big day. Later as the stag night kicks off, Ian suggests heading of to a lap dancing club, but Greg settles for The Vic along with his friends. Max has also turned up to the stag night although he refuses to get into the spirit of things, telling Jack that he cant see what ex Tanya even sees in Greg.

While the lads are at the pub, Tanya and the hens are over at the R&R, Tanya has already had far to much to drink and accuses best mate Jane of fancying Greg, she then tells Jane to go and get her own man, Jane is deeply hurt by Tanya's outburst and storms out of the club, but not before telling Tanya to go get a new matron of honour. When Jane gets home she bumps into Greg who has just escorted home a drunk Ian, a bitter Jane tells Greg that Tanya doesn't realise how lucky she is, and then tries to kiss him. A disgusted Greg pushes Jane away, and an embarrassed Jane apologises for her stupid mistake before bursting into tears.

When Max returns from the stag night he is angry to discover his youngest daughter Abi in bed with Jay. A furious Max pulls Jay out of bed and throws him up against the wall, in truth Abi and Jay were just cuddling as they had both agreed to wait, but Max isn't in the mood to listen to reason and when Jay manages to run off, Abi grabs her bridesmaid dress and she too runs off towards her Mums. Max is hot on her heels and trys to grab her, but instead he grabs her bridesmaid dress, tearing the sleeve of it. Abi starts yelling at her Dad before running off to her Mum.

Tanya and Greg's wedding day arrives, and doesn't get off to the best start when Max turns up first thing demanding to speak to Abi which results in a argument with Tanya. Max asks Tanya why she is marrying Greg, telling her that it should be him stood at the alter with her. Just at that moment, Greg appears and tells Max to leave his house, Max promises Tanya hat he will replace Abi's dress and have her at the church in time for the wedding, but Tanya makes it clear that she wants him to get her daughter there on time but Max is no longer welcome to the service, Max leaves but not before telling Tanya that he can't keep away leaving Tanya with doubts.

Later Tanya and Jane travel together in the wedding car, and Tanya apologises for what she said the night before, however a guilty Jane confesses that she tried it on with Greg leaving Tanya hurt. Once at the church, Tanya says she forgives Jane but only because she is to busy worrying where Abi is. Tanya tries to stall for time as she doesn't want her daughter to miss the ceremony, but Greg tells her this is another one of Max's games, so Tanya agrees for the wedding to go ahead regardless. Meanwhile Max and Abi are on their way to the church and still arguing over Abi and Jays relationship, Abi tells her Dad that she is annoyed they wont make the wedding on time, and so Max speeds up. Abi soon has a change of heart and tells her Dad that she knows he doesn't want Tanya to get married again but he has to let her move on, Max reaches out to Abi just as a woman steps out into the road. Max swerves to avoid hitting the woman and in doing so he ploughs straight into a incoming Lorry. Abi is rescued from the car, but things are much more serious for Max, the Lorry crashed into the drivers side, trapping Max in the process, when he is finally cut from the car he is rushed off to the hospital leaving a scared Abi to wonder if her Dad has survived.

Back at the church, Lauren phones sister Abi to find out where they are, but a woman answers Abi's phone and tells Lauren about the accident. A distraught Lauren runs off to find her Uncle Jack and tells him about the crash, Jack has to break the news to a horrified Tanya before they all rush of to the hospital not knowing what they will find when they get there. Once at the hospital a frantic Tanya rushes of to find out what has happened to her daughter and ex husband. Tanya manages to find Abi who is very shaken up and admits to her Mum that she doesn't know if Dad Max survived the crash because he was rushed away so quick. Tanya then rushes off once again to find out what has become of Max. Has Max survived???
