The X Factor Week Three

Another day, another hour of the best and worst Auditionees Britain has to offer, The show kicks off in London with Judges Simon, Louis and Cheryl and a audience of 3,500 people, Louis says he is looking for another set of Twins (Please! No more annoying little boys with quiffs Louis).

First up were funnily enough.......Twins! 22yr old The Evan Twins singing 'This Could be the Greatest Day of Our Lives' unfortunately for them it wasnt their greatest day when they got all No's, except for Louis of course who typicaly gave them a Yes. Following them was 16yr old Twins Bejon, who claimed to be better than Jedward (not really hard is it?) they sang 'I'm your Man' Simon gave them a No but with both Louis and Cheryl giving them a yes they just made it through to the next round. Next up were 25yr old Twins Meddi and Samhir who came all the way from Paris, they called themselves Twem which means Twin in arabic, and they sang Lady Gaga 'Just Dance' and although they didnt have the best voices in the world, their stage presence and just hearing them sing Lady Gaga in their french accents was entertaining enough, Simon once again said No, but with a Yes from Louis and Cheryl, Twen went through to bootcamp.

Next up in London was 37yr old Storm Lee Gardener, Storm came to London from Los Angeles but was born in Edingborough Scotland, he sang 'Every Breath you take' by The Police, as he had read that Sting said No real Artist would ever come out of X Factor. I personaly thought Storm sang the song well, but Simon didnt like it and asked him to sing something else, Simon also refused to call him Storm the name he legally gave himself at sixteen, as Simon believed it was a stupid name and he couldnt take him seriously. Storm then went ahead and sang 'Still havn't found what i'm looking for' by U2. which blew everyone away and he sailed through to BootCamp with three Yes's.

Next we saw 29yr old care worker John Adeleye who sang a very soulful version of 'You are so Beautiful' he to got three Yes's, and also to get three Yes's was bubbly 29yr old support worker Elesha Moses who sang her own version of Plan B's hit song.

In the second half the Judges travelled over to Birmingham where they were joined by guest judge Natalie Imbruglia, first up we saw 16yr old Liam Payne, who we first saw in 2008 when he was only fourteen, and he went all the way to Simons house in Barbados, but wasnt picked for the live shows as Simon believed he wasn't ready. Liam sang 'Cry me a River' which he sang with a very strong and confident voice, which suprised even Simon who gave him a standing ovation. Natalie Imbruglia told Liam, that other people in the competition should be very worried and he went through to BootCamp with four massive Yes's.

Next up was 41yr old Diva Patti Eleode, who sang 'For your eyes only' in a very peculiar voice which had the judges in fits of laughter, after her audition ended Simon told her "The good news is people like you, and you will always enjoy singing, but you have to do it alone." and she didnt get through to the next round. Along next was 19yr old student Chad Kennedy who said he wanted to be the next Micheal Buble of Birmingham, unfortunately this wasnt to be when his voice wasnt up to scratch and he read the lyrics from a piece of paper, his reason for this and i quote was "i had headaches, sickness and chesty cough for the last two weeks," and after some teasing from the Judges he got a firm No. We saw 18 and 21yr old lads The High St Boys, who did a very bad version of Backstreet Boys song 'I want it that way' hmmm that will be a No then. Then 19yr old Scott Archer who was dressed up as Elton John, Scott told Judges that he wants to take over from Elton John and follow in his footsteps, he then went on to say he had sang in his local park for four hours without stopping, and also preformed at two family funerals, Scott typicaly sang a Elton John song and recieved four No's. Next up was 67yr old retired Chemistry Lecturer, Brenda Morris who sang Pink 'So What' i found the audition entertaining with the 67yr old strutting her stuff in her black knee boots, the Judges didnt agree and gave her four No's.

Then came the suprise of the night 16yr old Cher Lloyd, who sang Solja Boys "Turn my Swag on" Cher sang with a excelent unique voice, and had the quirky facial expressions and dance moves to go with it, she was also dressed bang on trend and i can already see this girl being a pop star, the crowd went wild for Cher, and it looks like Cheryl Cole is already a big fan of the sixteen year old, the Judges were all impressed and she got four huge yes's. Also going through to Boot Camp was 23yr old club singer Keri Arrindell who sang 'midnight train' with a beautiful voice, and then 54yr old retired P.E Teacher Wagner Fiuza-Carrilho, who sang a operatic song and also sailed through with four yes's.

30yr old Justin Vanderhyde sang 'Very Superstitious' (dajuavu) and also went through to Boot Camp, as did 26yr old Treyc Cohen who had previously auditioned for the show in 2009, she sang 'you got the love' with a very powerful voice and got four big Yes's.

Finishing this weeks show was perhaps the worst act i have ever seen to date, 17 and 18yr old girls Abbey and Lisa who called themselve's errrrrrrrrrrm Abbey and Lisa (very original girls) the girls came on stage gobbing off about Louis being older than their granddad, and the crowd started booing at the girls catherine tate style chatter, resulting in one of the rude little girls Lisa shouting at the crowd to shut the f**k up, (Nice) Her embarassed friend Abbey then stomped of the stage leaving the Judges just sat their stunned, when they eventualy returned to complete their audition which lets face it wasnt going well anyway, they started to sing Shane Wards song 'That's my Goal' and after killing the song with their out of tune voices, Simon Cowell then told them that they had the worst attitudes of any contestants he had ever seen, and found them to be very rude. Natalie Imbruglia then told them "your singing wasn't great girls." to which Lisa replied "Who are you anyway" which made the already furious crowd Boo even more,.

With that Abbey embarassed once again by her friends rude attitude, stormed off the stage but not before punching her friend Lisa in the face on her way out, leaving everyone shocked by her violent outburst, Lisa then followed after sticking her fingers up to the crowd. Pretty safe to say they got four NO'S.

And so that concludes week three, tune in to ITV next Saturday at 7.45pm for your next instalment of The X Factor. See below for Cher's audition and other X Factor News.

I think Twem are going to get quite far. They're not very good vocally, however, they are VERY entertaining. This Twem blog ( http://www.thetwems.com ) set up by a fan also thinks they are going to go far.

I can't believe their outrage though when they got compared to Jedward. Of course it was gonig to happen. They are twins, they are entertaining, and they can't sing all that well . . . what'd ya expect?
