hot party dress on the high street

Tis the season to be jolly, and with all those Christmas party's coming up i am sure many of us are looking around for the perfect outfit to wear, i have looked around at the latest bargains and top buys on the high street to find the perfect outfits for the festive season that will be sure to dazzle and not break the bank either.

River Island

River Island are known for their style and these two Christmas party dresses are bang on trend. This season is all about little black dresses, fringed dresses,pleats, tassels, sequins, festive colours and lots of glam.

1. The black Pleated One Shoulder Dress brings a new edge to the simple little black dress with it's pleated layered tiered style. The perfect dress for dancing in, team this dress with some sparkly shoes and matching clutch bag. Necklaces wont look right with all these layers so instead make a statement with lots of bracelets, some nice earrings and a cocktail ring.

2. This second dress is bang on trend, look all christmasey in this gorgeous red colour dress fit for all special occasions. It has a bandeau style corset top and rosette draping around the dress. Wear with black or nude heels and a cocktail ring. Glam it up with gold bracelets and matching clutch bag.

3. With the cold weather here, not everyone wants to wear a short dress so why not wear a glamorous maxi dress instead? This third dress is a slinky maxi dress with gold tiger trim necklace detail. Wear with peep-toe shoes or gladiator heels, because of the neck detail there is no need for necklaces but you could add some gold bracelets and earrings for added style.

New Look

New look are constantly keeping up with the latest fashion, and have always done a great work wear range, so it seems fitting that the outfits i selected for a works party came from them.

1. Many of us wear black trousers on a night out teamed with a glam top, and if your works party is straight after work the chances are you are already wearing them. Instead of the traditional black trousers try some fashionable hareem trousers, i selected these soft silky fabric hareem trousers with gathered cuffs at the bottom and chain detailing at the top, you can wear them with some nice party heels and practically any top. Make sure the top you are wearing is not a long one (e.g. Tunic style) as you want the chain detailing to be on show.

2. This second item is the beaded mesh top which can be worn with the hareem trousers above. This sheer fabric top has a scoop neck and flared sleeves and all over beaded embellishment for that extra sparkle.

3. Pant suits are back on trend this season and with so many to choose from it was hard to select just one. The third item is a black one shoulder jumpsuit with a sloping neckline and sweetheart bust, and a draped single shoulder. Obviously with this outfit you do not need to buy the top as it is all- in- one, so you could use those extra pennies to buy a belt that really stands out. Because this suit is black you can wear it with any colour shoes and then match them with a clutch bag and accessories.

4. If you are going somewhere special for your works do then this fourth item is a stunning choice for any special occasion. The hitched prom dress comes in three colours, Black, Champayne and blue. It has a boned strapless bust with side zip and a hitched skirt. Wear this dress with heeled sandals. Accessories could include a ruffle or rossette cluch bag, flower hairband or hair slide, and a flower shaped cocktail ring.

Quiz

I had never heard of the Quiz store until my Mum-in-law mentioned it to me, but after having a look for myself i was impressed by the clothes, the quality and more importantly the prices. This month little black dresses have been flying off shop rails as the party season approaches. Quiz has lots of gorgeous black dresses to suit every style and occasion, but here are my top three.

1. The first item is a black sequin and jewel cut dress, this dress is a layered and gathered bodycon style with a low v neckline. Both the waist and neck line is covered in sequins and jewels giving it that glamorous edge. Wear this dress with sparkly silver shoes and silver accessories.

2. This second dress is a black and silver chiffon gathered bustier dress with a pearl sequin and jeweled design on one side of the bust. I love this dress because although it is a little black dress it has just a small piece of sparkle to make it stand out. Wear this dress with sparkly party heels and some sparkly earrings.

3. The third dress i selected is bang on trend at the moment and this style of dress has been seen on many celebrities recently. This black sleeveless dress has black and silver stone detail at the top and bottom. Wear this dress with black or silver party heels. Because there is already a lot of detailing on this dress i would avoid necklaces and earrings and instead just wear some statement bangles. You could also wear this style of dress with black leggings and funky shoe boots.

 Next

Purple is another colour that is in this season and so i had to include this gorgeous tiered dress from next which is perfect for that Christmas party.

This tiered dress will look best with black or silver party heels. teamed with black or silver accessories such as beaded necklace shown in the picture or beaded bracelets and a flower cocktail ring. Don'tforget that matching clutch bag, make a statement with an over sized clutch!!

Christmas season might mean party time but it is unfortunately winter time too, but don't let that put you off, because you can wrap up warm and still look dressed up ready for a night out with one of these lovely knitted jumper dresses.
